This PTA-program is staffed by volunteer parents/guardians, community supporters, and university & high school students, who donate over 8,000 hours to helping our students. Green Lake students have the opportunity to receive advanced learning, remedial studies or additional practice.

Volunteers provide tutoring in reading and math through our after school tutoring program. The Dragon Tutors Program encourages all students to read and to continue to progress.

Tutoring in reading, writing and math (and "homework-help") will be available beginning in September after school on a first come first serve basis.   If you would like this service for your child please have their teacher send in a recommendation  form to "Dragon Tutors" and we will send a permission slip home with the child. Parents may also contact the Dragon Tutor Coordinator directly and request a tutor for their child.  All students must have a permission slip signed by their parents to receive tutoring after school.  Tutoring will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:25 to 4:10pm (on any combination of days).   If you have specific questions about the Dragon Tutor program, please contact Beverly Denny at 206-252-5327 or brdenny@seattleschools.org.
