Support Green Lake Elementary
Every year, the Green Lake Elementary PTA strives to raise funds to provide more than $550 per student in programs, staff support, and community resources. These dollars directly enrich every child’s school experience and help fill critical gaps left by state and federal funding.
What Your Donation Makes Possible
PTA funding supports the programs and people that make Green Lake feel like home. Your generosity helps provide:
- After-school enrichment
- Swim instruction
- Family support & scholarships
- Academic fairs
- Supplemental staff (vice principal, school counselor, instructional aides)
- Community partnership with Rising Star Elementary
- 5th grade camping trip
- Library support
- Family fun nights
- Field trips & transportation

Ways to Give

Make a Donation
Monthly or one-time gifts: Donate via PayPal. Use the notes field to direct your gift (e.g., “staff appreciation”).
Corporate matching: Our nonprofit tax ID is 91-1442923. Check with your employer to see if they match donations.
Donate Grocery Gift Cards
Help support GLES families experiencing food insecurity.
- Cards $50 or under from Kroger, Target, Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyer, or similar stores are most helpful.
- Send cards to school with your student or drop them off in the main office.
- Electronic gift cards can be emailed directly to our school admin, Amy Carroll (alcarroll@seattleschools.org).
Earn Money for GLES While You Shop
- eScrip: Link your Safeway loyalty card at escrip.com and earn for GLES automatically.
- Office Depot: Mention “Green Lake Elementary” at checkout and 5% of your purchase is donated.
- Amazon Smile: When available, select Green Lake Elementary School PTA as your charity.

Volunteer
Every program, big or small, depends on volunteers. There are roles for every schedule and comfort level, from one-time tasks to ongoing commitments.
