After School Enrichment
Green Lake’s after‑school Enrichment Program offers a rotating selection of fun, engaging classes each Fall, Winter, and Spring. Classes are taught by trusted third‑party organizations and give students opportunities to explore new interests, build skills, and connect with friends across grade levels.
For Vendors
Interested in hosting a class at our school? Fill out this form or email enrichment@greenlakedragons.org.
Who It Serves
All Green Lake Elementary students, with specific classes open to different grade ranges.
What the Program Provides
- A variety of after‑school classes each quarter
- Offerings that may include sports, arts, STEM, language, games, and more
- Vetted instructors from reputable organizations
- On‑site classes held immediately after school
- Opportunities for students to explore interests beyond the school day
How It Works
The Enrichment Program runs three quarters each school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Class offerings change each quarter and are announced through:
- The PTA website
- The weekly school newsletter
- A flyer sent home with students a few weeks before registration opens
Classes are taught by outside vendors who partner with the PTA. The Enrichment Coordinator manages scheduling, room reservations, vendor communication, and overall program logistics.
Each quarter’s classes meet on a consistent day of the week, start right after school, and are generally 60–90 minutes long. Grade ranges vary by class and are listed in each class description.
How to Register
Registration is handled through 6crickets. When a new quarter opens:
- Create or log into your 6crickets account.
- Add your student(s) to your profile.
- Visit the Green Lake Elementary page on 6crickets to view current offerings.
- Check grade ranges and meeting days carefully.
- Register when the window opens — classes are filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
- If a class is full, you may be able to join a waitlist (varies by vendor).
- If you need to withdraw, you can do so through 6crickets; refunds vary by vendor and timing.
Specific registration dates are announced each quarter through the newsletter and flyers.
Support & Resources
Scholarships
If the registration fee is a barrier, scholarships are available. Supporting access is a priority for the PTA, and we encourage families to reach out.
To request a scholarship, contact Ms. Schneider (mmschneider@seattleschools.org) or complete the scholarship request form.
Cedar Crossing Walking School Bus
If your family lives at Cedar Crossing and you need help picking up your kid(s) after Enrichment, let us know. We have a few families who walk home in that direction and are happy to chaperone kids going home to Cedar Crossing.
If you’d like your child to be included, just let us know on this form and we’ll connect the dots.

FAQ
What time do classes end?
Most classes run 60–90 minutes after school. Each class listing includes its end time.
Where do I pick up my kid?
Pickup is at the front door of the school (near the office).
Can I still register my kid for a class?
Registration stays open until the weekend before classes begin, as long as space is available.
I missed the registration deadline—can my child still join a class?
Sometimes! If it’s still early in the quarter and there’s space in a class (or if another student has dropped), we may be able to add your child. Email enrichment@greenlakedragons.org to see what’s possible.
What if my kid is absent or doesn’t want to attend on a given day?
Email the instructor to let them know. If a child doesn’t arrive at their registered class, we’ll call to confirm how they’re supposed to get home that day.
What if I’m running late for pickup?
Please try to arrive on time—staff and instructors need to stay until every child is picked up. If you know you’ll be late, contact the instructor as soon as you can.
Can I withdraw from a class?
Yes — you can withdraw through 6crickets. Refunds depend on the vendor and timing.
